Health is the most valuable asset that that cannot be taken for granted. Person in charge of his health must stay healthy. Let’s not forget, only a healthy person can complete tasks, given to him, with ease and thereby satisfy the demands. Today, there is no doubt about the importance and value of good health. Nowadays the well known saying, "good health is good wealth", is not just a collection of empty words.
Many people in the world are suffering from some form of sickness. There are few people enjoying good health. Some are sick with disease and some fall to depression. To sum it all up, everywhere we look, something is out there attacking our immune system (like: AIDS, hepatitis, the bird flu etc.). And wherever you look, everywhere there are people feeling sick and sometime the results can be horrifying. One must always asks: what is the origin of thousands of diseases that have an ominous influence on our economical and social situation? The answer is quite obvious. The humankind is sick and loses its strength, falls under the influence of hundreds of diseases because we turned down a natural way of living and accepted nature opposing ways of life. For every person, the major task should be to preserve his health and if the body is affected by an illness, it is necessary to restore health with the aid of the natural treatments. Happiness and misfortune are in direct correlation to health and disease. What meaning would wealth, status or fortune have for a sick person. All these conveniences hold no joy for him. One would think that in such situation, one would do anything to keep his body in shape, but unfortunately it is not often the case. Treatment, usually, begins when it is already too late and health had already been compromised.
The human body works in cooperation with surrounding nature and its functionality depends on predefined conditions.
Physiology and hygiene are, usually the governing factors of the so called “Perfect Health”. Human body needs in certain, proportionate, quantities of substances like water and oxygen in the air. With the conditions set just right (i.e. temperature, blood pressure, quality of surrounding air), human body can function autonomously and easily maintain a healthy state. If, however, significant or insignificant shift from these norms happens for a lasting period of time, the aftermath can cause irreversible damage to body’s metabolic rate and would later lead to complications such as, pathologies of different kinds.
However, all the negative effects on the human body originate from dirty living conditions and our, so called, “qualified” practitioners who would only give advice, on maintaining ones health, in very rare cases. Without any concern for the costs of treatment, the doctors prescribe medicine and bioactive supplements of doubtful origin and unpredictable effects. In the organized children's establishments (a day nursery, a kinder garden, school) the rules of personal hygiene are not taught. Majority of people are afraid of the sun and fresh air even though they are a means of disease prevention. Sunlight and fresh air, rich with oxygen, cannot be harmful to either the sick, or the healthy, nor for an adult, nor for a child. Thriving pharmaceutical industry has completely pushed aside all other different ways of treatment. Not to mention that doctors today prescribe medicine without thinking twice about the negative effects the drug may have and in doing so, compromise the health of an already sick person.
Fortunately, today, a new age of medical treatment appeared. The age of phototherapy along with heliotherapy and light therapy has begun.
Sunlight as therapy has been known since the dawn of man. Sunlight and water were always important as natural remedies. The fist mammal cells depended on the sunlight which later leads to the birth of first organic molecules. All chemical processes evolving under the influence of light, are known as “photochemical”.
The historical note by " The father of history " Herodotus (490 B.C.) regarding the battle of Pelusium (525 B.C.) between the Persian and the Egyptians. “I have seen a great miracle. The sculls of Persians, wearing tiara like cap since childhood, were so soft that they could be broken with a small stone, on the other hand, the sculls of Egyptians who cut their hair since birth and never covered their heads, were solid and hard to destroy even with a large boulder..."
From a hygiene the point of view, the sunlight was of the most import asset for the people of Greece and ancient Rome who set a classic example for healthcare. Sunbathing was a daily routine. A Roman ancient tradition – bathing in the sun after a meal has been passed Italian Alps down for generations even to this day.
Thereby Tessin inhabitants, thanks to this age old tradition live to a very old age. Their proverb says: "Where the sun can reach, the doctor can’t."
Although he was not a doctor, L. Paster, has made an astonishing discovery in the field of fermentation, bacterium and the processes involved stating that diseases form because of very tiny creatures, bacteria. The investigation later lead to preventative and fighting measures against the bacteria.
In 1877 Downes and Blunt discovered that the visible light is capable of destroying bacteria. That, coincidently, were the first fundamental rules for phototherapy. Later investigations have proven the visible spectrum of light (400-750 nanometers) have a positive effect on the whole body, metabolic rate, normalizes blood pressure, and can cure a number of diseases with no use of medications and side effects.
On the principals mentioned above the Science, Research and Development Company AVERS worked out and produced phototherapeutic applications. At present, SRDC "AVERS " owns 12 patents for the products of this nature and 8 confirmed positive ‘patent on the way’ .
Above all it is right to mention the following:
1. The device for phototherapy of ischemic diseases of the lower extremities (Patent No 52719 as of 27/04/2006). This device looks like a pair of casual slippers with monochromatic emitters of blue, red and green spectrums of a light built into the insoles. Each emitter has its own wavelength. Simultaneous use of red, pure blue and green colors stimulate peripheral blood circulation, has a positive effect on the viscosity of blood and microcirculatory system. The product’s purpose is to lower the probability of chronic atherosclerosis of the lower extremities, thickening of the blood (Hypercoagulation), restore microcirculation and remove weariness of legs and feet, stop pain and remove "bruises" and hematomas.
2. External non-invasive irradiator (Patent No. 52718 of 27/04/2006). The device is designed as a wristwatch, which is fixed above a veins. The device uses a full spectrum of visible light (violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and red). It is used for prevention and treatment of respiratory viral infections, skin and ulcer diseases, and for prophylaxis treatment. Various wavelengths have different effects:
- Increased oxygen absorption by the tissue;
- reduction of viscosity of blood;
- increase of cardiac output;
- pain relief;
- normalization of muscular metabolism.
I consider every inhabitant, of areas above the 50-th parallel (cities of Orel and Tchita), and especially in the northern hemisphere, must have the device since lack of energy from the sun is compensated by this handy little gadget.
3. Shaving razor with monochromatic emitters of visible spectrum (Patent No 52714 as of 27/04/2006). This is an ordinary shaving set of Gilette like razors , for everyday use. A nozzle has an emitter built in with a full spectrum of red, green and blue lights. Various emitters of a suitable wavelength prevent skin diseases, reduce bleeding when cut, remove allergy symptoms.
4. Toothbrush with monochromatic emitters of visible spectrum of light (Patent No 53857 as of 10/06/2006). This is an effective hygiene and prophylactic product which is in no way different from a design of an ordinary toothbrush, with built in emitters of red, green and blue colours that are able to treat diseases such as parodontosis and periodontitis). Our investigation showed that the blue spectrum destroyed ferruginous bacteria which caused dental plaque, i.e. whitens teeth. Effects of the three colours are, reducing inflammations, restoring gingival blood flow, particularly at microcirculation level. For instance, toothache calms down in 2-3 minutes.
5. Tampon with monochromatic emitters of visible light spectrum (Patent No53916 as of 10/06/2006).
The product is used for prophylaxis and treatment of gynecological diseases. The product is designed as a usual cotton tampon with a built in monochromatic blue and red emitters, and a battery ensuring functionality for 30 minutes. The package contains 10 tampons which is easy to take with you and use anywhere.

Going back to the beginning, as I mentioned previously, it is very important for a person to maintain his good health and hygiene. Parents must do everything to prevent their children from getting sick in the first place.
